There is no law against flipping designer sundries for huge, greedy profits. BUT if I were a popular designer, I’d take the time to check PP, BK, and eBay at least once a week and i’d keep a list of everyone who resold my items at a profit greater than 5%, AND REFUSE TO EVER SELL TO THEM AGAIN! It is very disrespectful to designers to flip THEIR hard work for YOUR greedy profit!
greedy “designers” listing on ebay to get the most money possible are no different.
Ya, it kinda does go both ways but it really is up to the buyers. You can buy a pair of shoes from Payless & WalMart for 10 bucks or you can go to Holt Renfrew and pay thousands. What is the determining factor? Is it the label? Perhaps the quality? Who knows.. it differs with each and every individual.
I am from the logic where if I can’t make things myself, then they better be reasonably priced, otherwise forget it. I budget my purchases and try not to spend too much on things that are not necessitates. Now if you want it, you have the funds, you don’t want to make it yourself and you don’t want to learn then why not?
I have got to go online and find some knitting tutorials. I just want to make stuff for my own dollies but if I ever get really good then maybe I can make more to sell but only charge for the materials and a fair labor fee.
https://www.ravelry.com/ has some great free patterns and I believe you can ask other members for tips and help too. <3 xo
